How it works
How to make a google review qr code
Paste your Google review link
Copy the share link from Ask for reviews or Get more reviews in your Google Business Profile and paste it in. A g.page or Google review link is used as-is; anything else is treated as a Place ID and turned into a review address.
Choose colors and settings
Open the Design tab to pick a color preset or your own brand colors, set error correction, and choose the PNG size. A built-in check warns you if your colors are too close to scan reliably.
Test and download
Scan the live preview with your phone and confirm it opens your own listing's review form, not a different location. Then download a PNG for screens or an SVG for print. The code is made right in your browser.
Optional: make it a Smart QR code
If you want to see how many people scan your review code, or point it somewhere else later, create a Smart QR code at /create-qr-code. It tracks every scan and stays editable after printing. Free plan, no credit card.
Explained
What is a google review qr code?
A Google review QR code opens the review form for your Google Business Profile when it is scanned. Instead of asking customers to search for your business, find the listing, scroll to the reviews, and tap the right button, the code takes them straight to the star rating and comment box. Fewer steps means more of the customers who say they will leave a review actually do.
The easiest input is the review link Google gives you. Open your Business Profile (search your business name on Google while signed in, or use the Google Business Profile app), choose Ask for reviews or Get more reviews, and copy the share link; it usually looks like https://g.page/r/.../review. Paste it here and it is used exactly as-is. If you paste a Place ID instead, the tool builds the standard review address, search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=..., for you.
The code on this page is static: the review link is written into the pattern, so it never expires and has no scan limit, but it cannot be edited or counted after you download it. Google review links tend to stay stable for the life of a listing, which makes them a good fit for a static code. Print it on counters, receipts, and thank-you cards at least 2 cm (0.8 in) wide, keep it dark on a light background, and test-scan the final artwork with an iPhone and an Android before printing a batch.
Use cases
Where google review qr codes work best
Counter and checkout signs
Place a small stand or sticker by the register with a line like "Enjoyed your visit? Review us on Google." The moment after a good transaction is when customers are most willing to take thirty seconds to leave a review.
Receipts and invoices
Add the code to printed receipts, invoices, and packing slips. Receipt printers produce small, sometimes faded output, so keep the code at least 2 cm (0.8 in) wide, use a higher error correction level, and test a real printed receipt before rolling it out.
Restaurant table tents and check presenters
Put the code on table tents or slip a card into the check folder. Guests can leave a review while they wait for their card to come back, while the meal is still fresh in their mind.
Service visits and appointments
Contractors, cleaners, salons, and clinics can hand over a business card or leave-behind with the code after the job is done. A review left the same day tends to be more specific than one written a week later from memory.
Thank-you cards and packaging
Online sellers and local shops can include a printed card in the bag or box. A short handwritten-style note plus a review code feels personal and gives the customer a one-scan way to say thanks.
Email signatures and follow-up messages
Use the PNG in follow-up emails or on your website's contact page for customers reading on a laptop. They can scan it with their phone, where they are already signed in to Google.
Static or Smart
Static google review qr code or Smart QR code?
What the free code on this page does, and what a QRelix Smart QR code adds.
- A static Google review code stores the review link itself, so it works for as long as your Business Profile exists, with no service in between and no scan limit.
- Static codes record nothing. You will not know whether the counter sign or the receipt brings in more scans, or which location's codes get used.
- A Smart QR code from QRelix encodes a short QRelix link you can redirect at any time, logs every scan with time, device, browser, and approximate location, and lets you add your logo and dot styles.
- The free plan includes unlimited Smart QR codes and the full analytics dashboard. Each code gets 20 scans a month and shows a brief QRelix screen before forwarding; Pro lifts both for $5.99 a month.

FAQ
Google Review QR Code questions
- How do I make a QR code for Google reviews?
- Copy your review link from Google Business Profile (Ask for reviews or Get more reviews), paste it into the field above, check the preview with your phone, and download the PNG or SVG. The code opens your review form directly. It is free, needs no account, and is generated in your browser.
- Where do I find my Google review link?
- Sign in to the Google account that manages your business, then search your business name on Google or open the Google Business Profile app. Choose Ask for reviews or Get more reviews and copy the link it shows. If you only have your Place ID, paste that instead and this tool builds the review address for you.
- Does a Google review QR code expire?
- The static code from this page never expires and has no scan limit. It keeps working as long as the review link does, which normally means as long as your Business Profile exists. If the listing is removed or merged into another one, the code would point to the old listing and you would need a new code.
- Can I track how many people scan my review QR code?
- Not with a static code: the scan goes straight from the phone to Google, so nothing in between counts it. A Smart QR code from QRelix records each scan with time, device, browser, and approximate location, and the analytics dashboard is included on the free plan. Create one at /create-qr-code.
- Can I offer a discount in exchange for a Google review?
- Google's review policies do not allow businesses to offer incentives for reviews or to ask only happy customers to leave them. Invite every customer to share honest feedback, and let the code simply make that easier. Check Google's current review policies if you are unsure about a specific promotion.
- Does the code work on iPhone and Android?
- Yes. Both scan QR codes with the built-in camera. The code opens the review link in the browser or the Google Maps app, depending on the phone. Customers who are not signed in to a Google account are asked to sign in before they can post, so test with a phone that is signed in and one that is not.
- What size should I print a Google review QR code?
- At least 2 cm (0.8 in) wide for receipts, business cards, and thank-you cards, and 3 to 5 cm (1.2 to 2 in) for counter stands and table tents. For wall signs, allow about one unit of code width for every ten units of scanning distance. Download the SVG for print so the code stays sharp at any size.
