How it works
How to make a yelp qr code
Paste your Yelp page link
Open your business on Yelp, tap Share, and copy the link. Paste the /biz/ address into the field. For several locations, use the page for the location where the code will be displayed.
Choose colors and settings
Open the Design tab to pick a color preset or your own brand colors, set error correction, and choose the PNG size. A built-in check warns you if your colors are too close to scan reliably.
Test and download
Scan the live preview and confirm it opens your own Yelp page, with the right location and address. Then download a PNG for screens or an SVG for print. The code is made right in your browser.
Optional: make it a Smart QR code
If you want scan counts, or the option to point the code at a different page later, create a Smart QR code at /create-qr-code. It logs every scan and stays editable after printing. Free plan, no credit card.
Explained
What is a yelp qr code?
A Yelp QR code opens your Yelp business page when it is scanned. The code stores your page address, for example https://www.yelp.com/biz/your-business, and the phone opens it in the Yelp app if it is installed or in the browser if it is not. From your page, customers can see your photos, hours, and menu, check in, and write a review if they choose to.
To find the link, open your business on yelp.com or in the Yelp app, use the Share button, and copy the address. It should contain /biz/ followed by your business name and often the city. Paste it here and the code opens that page. If your business has several locations, each one has its own /biz/ address, so make a separate code for each.
Yelp discourages businesses from asking customers for reviews, so this code is best framed as a way to find you on Yelp, with wording like "Find us on Yelp" or "Check us out on Yelp" rather than "Review us." The code on this page is static: it never expires and has no scan limit, but it cannot be edited or counted after you download it. Print it at least 2 cm (0.8 in) wide, keep it dark on a light background, and test-scan with an iPhone and an Android before printing.
Use cases
Where yelp qr codes work best
Front windows and doors
A "Find us on Yelp" sticker in the window lets passers-by check your photos, hours, and what other people say before they walk in. Size it so it scans from the sidewalk: about 10 cm (4 in) wide for someone standing a meter away.
Menus and table tents
Restaurants and cafes can add the code to a menu or table card so guests can browse dish photos, save your page, or check in. Keep the wording neutral, such as "See us on Yelp."
Business cards and flyers
Add the code next to your website and phone number. For a new customer comparing options, your Yelp page with photos and hours is often more convincing than a plain web address.
Takeout bags and packaging
Print the code on bag stickers or packaging inserts so customers can find you again for the next order, with your hours and location one scan away.
Event booths and pop-ups
At markets and pop-ups, a code on the booth sign lets people save your Yelp page and find your permanent location later.
Static or Smart
Static yelp qr code or Smart QR code?
What the free code on this page does, and what a QRelix Smart QR code adds.
- A static Yelp code stores your page link itself, so it keeps working as long as the page exists, with no service in between and no scan limit.
- If your Yelp page address changes, for example after a move or a rename, every printed static code keeps pointing to the old address.
- A Smart QR code from QRelix encodes a short QRelix link you can redirect at any time, logs every scan with time, device, browser, and approximate location, and lets you add your logo and dot styles.
- The free plan includes unlimited Smart QR codes and the full analytics dashboard. Each code gets 20 scans a month and shows a brief QRelix screen before forwarding; Pro lifts both for $5.99 a month.

FAQ
Yelp QR Code questions
- How do I make a QR code for my Yelp page?
- Open your business on Yelp, tap Share, and copy the link. Paste it into the field above, scan the preview with your phone to confirm it opens the right page, then download the PNG or SVG. It is free, needs no account, and is generated in your browser.
- Can I use a QR code to ask customers for Yelp reviews?
- Yelp discourages businesses from asking customers for reviews. The safer approach is to use the code as a way for customers to find your page, with wording like "Find us on Yelp" or "Check us out on Yelp," and let people decide for themselves whether to review. Read Yelp's current guidelines for businesses before you print anything that mentions reviews.
- Where do I find my Yelp business page link?
- Search your business on yelp.com or in the Yelp app, open the page, and use the Share button to copy the link. The address contains /biz/ followed by your business name, for example https://www.yelp.com/biz/your-business. Each location has its own address, so check that the city and street match.
- Does the Yelp QR code open the Yelp app?
- The code stores Yelp's normal https link. On phones with the Yelp app installed, the link usually opens in the app; otherwise it opens your page in the browser. Test it on both an iPhone and an Android, ideally one with the app and one without.
- Does a Yelp QR code expire?
- The static code from this page never expires and has no scan limit. It works for as long as your Yelp page address stays the same. If the address changes, you would need a new code; a Smart QR code from /create-qr-code can be redirected instead of reprinted.
- Can I track how many people scan my Yelp QR code?
- Not with a static code, because the scan goes straight to Yelp. A Smart QR code from QRelix records each scan with time, device, browser, and approximate location, and the analytics dashboard is included on the free plan.
