Custom domains
QR codes on your own domain
Put go.yourbrand.com in every QR code instead of a third-party link. Add one DNS record, get HTTPS automatically, and keep the same analytics and controls. Part of the QRelix Team Plan.
Default link

https://go.yourbrand.com/clx8k3x9qaWhy it matters
Branded QR codes, down to the link
A logo makes a QR code look like yours. A custom domain makes the link inside it yours too.
A link people recognize
Phones show the link before opening it. go.yourbrand.com tells people the code is really yours, which matters on posters, packaging, and mail.
One brand from print to page
Your logo on the code, your domain in the link, and your site at the end. No third-party address in the middle.
No QRelix branding
Team workspaces never show a QRelix screen on scans, so a white label QR code stays white label.
Everything else still works
Scan analytics, passwords, expiration dates, geofences, schedules, round robin URLs, and webhooks behave the same on your domain.
How it works
Connect your domain in three steps
No code and no certificates to manage. Most domains are ready within minutes.
- 1
Add your domain
Open Domains in the dashboard and enter a subdomain like go.yourbrand.com or a short apex domain like yourbrand.link.
- 2
Add one DNS record
Copy the record QRelix shows into your DNS provider: a CNAME for a subdomain or an A record for an apex domain.
- 3
Check DNS and go
QRelix verifies the domain and issues an HTTPS certificate automatically, usually within minutes. New codes can use it right away.
The DNS record
Use a CNAME for a subdomain or an A record for an apex domain. If the domain is already connected somewhere else, QRelix also shows a TXT record to prove you own it. Always copy the exact values from the Domains page.
Using Cloudflare? Set the record to DNS only (grey cloud). Troubleshooting tips

Built for teams that print a lot of codes
Set it up once and every new code in the workspace carries your domain.
- Connect up to 3 custom domains per Team workspace
- Make one domain the default and every new QR code in the workspace uses it
- Move any existing dynamic code onto your domain, or back to qrelix.com, from its configure page
- Send visitors who open the bare domain to your homepage with a root redirect
- Owners and admins manage domains; editors choose the domain for a code
- Old qrelix.com links keep working, so codes already in print never break
Included with the QRelix Team Plan
TeamQRelix Team Plan is $19 a month, or $190 a year, with 3 seats included. You also get owner, admin, editor, and viewer roles, the developer API, Zapier, and Make, and everything in Pro.
Moving a code to a new domain regenerates its image, so plan a reprint for codes already in circulation. Their old qrelix.com links keep working in the meantime.
FAQ
Custom domain QR code questions
- What is a custom domain QR code?
- It is a dynamic QR code whose link uses a domain you own. Instead of a qrelix.com address, the code encodes a link like https://go.yourbrand.com/ followed by the code id. Scans resolve on your domain with HTTPS, and you can still change the destination at any time.
- Which plan includes custom domains?
- Custom domains are part of the QRelix Team Plan. QRelix Team Plan is $19 a month, or $190 a year, with 3 seats included. Each Team workspace can connect up to 3 custom domains. The Free and Pro plans do not include custom domains.
- What DNS record do I need?
- For a subdomain such as go.yourbrand.com, add a CNAME record pointing to cname.vercel-dns.com. For an apex domain such as yourbrand.link, add an A record pointing to 76.76.21.21. If the domain is already used elsewhere, QRelix also shows a TXT record to prove you own it. DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to propagate.
- Do I need to buy an SSL certificate?
- No. Once the DNS record is verified, QRelix issues and renews an HTTPS certificate for your domain automatically.
- Can I move existing QR codes to my domain?
- Yes. Any dynamic QR code can be switched to a custom domain from its configure page. That changes the link inside the code, so QRelix regenerates the image and you reprint the new download. Copies already printed keep their qrelix.com link, which keeps working.
- Does scan tracking work on a custom domain?
- Yes. Scans on your domain appear in the same real-time analytics and scan log, and trigger the same webhooks, Zapier, and Make automations as any other scan.
- What happens if I cancel the Team plan?
- Codes on your custom domain keep working: scans are forwarded through qrelix.com as long as the domain still points at QRelix. If you remove the domain or its DNS record, codes printed with that domain stop resolving, so the dashboard shows how many codes use a domain before you remove it.
