Printing

Tips for a code that scans

  • Print on 100 gsm paper or heavier so ink does not show through.
  • Test the code from arm's length on the printed copy before printing a stack.
  • Put the date and place in the details line so people can decide without scanning.

Questions

QR Code Flyer Template FAQ

What size is the flyer?
A5 (148 by 210 mm). It prints well on its own, or two to a sheet of US Letter or A4 paper.
What should a flyer QR code link to?
An RSVP form, a ticket page, or an event page with the details and Add to calendar. Name a separate code for each place you hand flyers out to see which spot works best.
Is the template really free?
Yes. Edit it, add your link, and download the PDF or PNG with no account. The QR code in the download is static, so it always goes to the link you typed.
Can I change the link after I print it?
Not with the free download, because a static QR code holds the link itself. For a code you can change after printing, with every scan tracked, create a dynamic QR code on QRelix and use the same template in its print designer.
