How it works
How to make a tiktok qr code
Enter your TikTok username
Type your @handle, with or without the @, or paste your profile link. The tool builds your profile link, tiktok.com/@yourusername, and encodes it.
Choose colors and settings
Open the Design tab to pick a color preset or your own brand colors, set error correction, and choose the PNG size. A built-in contrast check warns you if your colors are too close to scan reliably.
Test and download
Scan the live preview with your phone to confirm your profile opens, then download a PNG for screens or an SVG for print. The code is made right in your browser.
Optional: make it a Smart QR code
If you might rename your account or want to count scans, create a Smart QR code at /create-qr-code. You can repoint it to a new handle or a specific video after printing and see every scan. Free plan, no credit card.
Explained
What is a tiktok qr code?
A TikTok QR code opens your TikTok profile when it is scanned. You type your username, and the code stores your profile link, https://www.tiktok.com/@yourbusiness. Phones with TikTok installed open the profile in the app, where the follow button is right there; phones without it open your profile in the browser.
Your username is the handle shown under your profile picture in the app, starting with @. You can type it with or without the @, or paste your full profile link and the tool picks the username out of it. The username is not the same as your display name, which can contain spaces and does not form a link, so check that you are entering the @handle.
The code is static: the username is written into the pattern, so it never expires and has no scan limit, but it cannot follow you if you rename your account. A renamed handle leaves every printed code pointing at a profile that no longer exists, and someone else could later take the old name. If your account is private, people who scan will see your profile but not your videos until you accept their follow. Print the code at least 2 cm (0.8 in) wide and test it on an iPhone and an Android before printing.
Use cases
Where tiktok qr codes work best
Product packaging and shipping inserts
Brands that sell through TikTok can put a code on the box or thank-you card so buyers follow for new drops and tutorials. A short profile link keeps the code small enough for a label.
Salon and barbershop mirrors
A decal on the mirror invites the client in the chair to follow the stylist whose transformation videos they just became part of. It is the moment they are most likely to follow.
Restaurant and cafe counters
A code by the register or on the cup sleeve points customers to the videos that show your food being made, your specials, and behind-the-scenes clips.
Gyms and studios
Post a code near the front desk or on the class board so members can follow for workout clips, form tips, and challenges. Print it large enough to scan from a few steps away.
Merch tables and stickers
Musicians, creators, and artists can print the code on stickers and merch tags. Stickers travel, and every one is a way back to your profile long after the show or market.
Event booths and pop-ups
A code on a booth banner turns foot traffic into followers. Pair it with a reason to scan, such as a giveaway announced on your profile.
Static or Smart
Static tiktok qr code or Smart QR code?
What the free code on this page does, and what a QRelix Smart QR code adds.
- A static TikTok code stores your profile link permanently. If you rename your account, every printed code leads to a profile that no longer exists.
- Static codes report nothing: you cannot see how many people scanned, when, or which sticker, package, or sign brought them.
- A QRelix Smart QR code encodes a short QRelix link you can repoint to a new handle or a specific video at any time, logs each scan with time, device, browser, and approximate location, and lets you add your logo, dot shapes, and corner styles.
- The free plan includes unlimited Smart QR codes and the full analytics dashboard. Each free code gets 20 scans a month and shows a brief QRelix screen before forwarding; Pro lifts both for $5.99 a month.

FAQ
TikTok QR Code questions
- How do I make a QR code for my TikTok profile?
- Type your TikTok username into the field above, with or without the @, and download the code as a PNG or SVG. The tool builds your profile link, tiktok.com/@yourusername, and encodes it in your browser. There is no account to create. If you want scan counts or an editable link, create a Smart QR code at /create-qr-code.
- Where do I find my TikTok username?
- Open the TikTok app and go to your profile. Your username is the handle under your profile picture that starts with @. Your display name, shown in larger text, is different and is not part of your profile link. You can also copy your profile link from the share option on your profile and paste it here.
- Does a TikTok QR code open the app?
- Yes, when TikTok is installed. The code stores a standard tiktok.com profile link, which iPhone and Android hand to the TikTok app. Without the app, the profile opens in the mobile browser. The built-in camera reads the code, so no scanner app is needed.
- What happens if I change my TikTok username?
- The printed code keeps the old username, so scans lead to a profile that no longer exists, and the old name may later belong to someone else. Settle your username before printing in volume, or use a Smart QR code you can redirect to the new handle without reprinting.
- Can I make a QR code for a single TikTok video?
- This tool makes profile codes. For a specific video, copy the video link from TikTok's share option and paste it into the URL QR code generator, or create a Smart QR code at /create-qr-code so you can point the printed code at a different video later.
- Will the code work if my TikTok account is private?
- It will open your profile, but people will not see your videos until you approve their follow request. If the goal is to show your content to new people, a public account works much better. Test-scan from a phone that is not logged in to your account to see what visitors get.
